While this was taking place, we searched for a product that fullfilled our needs. Some masks were protective. Some were a little more comfortable, and some were just plain cute (looking at you, tie dye).
But it didn’t seem like one single mask could check all the boxes, and we really struggled to find a mask that didn’t cause “maskne” or one that we could comfortably breathe in while running.
Base Masks was born to simplify the search and create a mask for everyone's needs in one place. We are proud to share our three categories of masks that ALL are protective, comfortable, breathable and more.

Everyone has different style and needs. The Defense Mask comes in two levels of protection: Level I, the lighter of the two, has customizable patterns for individual style. Level II contains an extra layer for a nearly medical-grade protection.

As masks become an easy way to protect ourselves from the world outside our masks, we realize how important it is to protect the skin inside the mask just as much. Our skincare mask reflects the importance of this, and we have chosen fabrics accordingly.
